Our creative journey began in 1995, when we opened the original Sense of Wonder in downtown Reading. At the time we hoped shoppers would be intrigued by the craftsmanship and originality of the items we selected. They were. In July 2006, we celebrated ten years of creative retailing and opened Sense of Wonder in North Andover. We designed this brand new retail space, stocked it full of signature Sense of Wonder merchandise, and introduced our north suburban neighbors to the Sense of Wonder shopping experience. 2008 brings more changes for Sense of Wonder, as we close our Reading location and consolidate all of our operations in North Andover. Our small business is not a typical retail store. We purchase unique items directly from artists and craftspeople, sell their work at affordable prices, offer knowledgeable and meticulous service, and are almost always onsite ourselves helping customers. Whether assisting you find just the right jewelry for a special occasion, choosing colors for an important room accessory, or taking extra care wrapping your purchase, we enjoy getting to know you.
